UZ lifts restrictions on grain transportation towards Izmail
Ukrzaliznytsia has abolished conventions on the transportation of grain in the direction of Izmail. This is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Rail.insider.
Due to a critical accumulation of railcars in the port of Izmail, the convention for grain delivery to this station has been in force since 17 March. From 23 March, Ukrzaliznytsia introduced another restriction on the transportation of grain and seeds to Izmail. It applied to all recipients except JV Nibulon LLC. In addition, it was allowed to load in the wagons of Ukrzaliznytsia branch Centre of Transport Logistics.
Now these conventions are not available on the Ukrzaliznytsia website. Only transport of pellets from the Zolotnyshyno station to Izmail is restricted.
