Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmihal wrote about this on Telegram, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply.

At a government meeting on May 27, a draft resolution on the implementation of public purchases of petroleum products under martial law was adopted.

“The document provides that JSC Ukrzaliznytsya, acting as a customer, purchases oil products under foreign economic agreements. The purchased oil products will be directed to the priority needs of the state and to increase the state reserve,” the head of government said.

In addition, a commission has been set up to audit the damage caused to Ukraine as a result of Russia’s armed aggression. Its official composition, as well as the position on work, was approved. The Vice Prime Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories and the Minister of Infrastructure have been appointed co-chairs of the commission.

“The main tasks of the commission are the development of damage audit methodologies, as well as the preparation and approval of legal acts for their comprehensive assessment,” Denis Shmihal explained.

Recall that the government has additionally allocated UAH 18 billion to UZ, as well as 10 000 tons of diesel fuel.
