02.02.2023
Employees of the Office of the Director for Economic and Information Security of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” eliminated the scheme of theft of 250 tons of diesel fuel in the Odessa locomotive depot. This is reported by Railway Supply magazine, citing the railway operator.
During the audit, it was found that the management of the depot entered into a gratuitous agreement with a private company for the transportation of fuel. The fuel was exported under the guise of the specified agreement, as a rule, on weekends, but it did not reach the destination. Interestingly, according to the documents, the contractor spent two days transporting fuel from base to base, while the distance between them was 40 km.
