Ukrzaliznytsia canceled the first auction for the sale of non-core assets

On August 11, the first 14 trades for the sale of non-core assets were to take place for a total of UAH 42 million. However, on August 10, all tenders were canceled.

The decision was made by the Department of Property Policy of Ukrzaliznytsia on the basis of an appeal by an unnamed People’s Deputy of Ukraine, reports Railway Supply magazine.
Now the Ministry of Infrastructure and the company must finalize the procedure for announcing tenders.
Ukrzaliznytsia sells buildings and premises from the list of non-core assets
The first objects were put up for auctions in the electronic system Prozorro. The auctions were scheduled for early July. Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia has already identified 182 non-core assets.
These are non-residential premises, structures, buildings, integral property complexes and the like. In particular, the list of the first 11 objects includes 6 shops, sports club premises and 4 non-residential premises.
