The government of Kazakhstan has significantly reduced the fee for using access roads in the country.

It is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the media. Thus, since February 1 this year, tariffs have been reduced by an average of 80% for 21 entities providing services for the provision of access roads in a number of regions of the country.

Additional capacity for transportation of Kazakh coal

In particular, tariffs were reduced by 93% for ARMAN KALA LTD LLC, which provides access road services in Pavlodar region. This measure is expected to have a positive impact on the cost of thermal coal from Bogatir Komir LLC, which is the main fuel supplier for energy-producing organizations in Kazakhstan.

In addition, the tariffs of the Transport Service Center JSC, the largest balance holder of access roads located at key railway facilities in the country, were reduced by 92% for the purpose of objective pricing. Recall that last year the growth of the average monthly wage at KTZ was 22%.
