More than 80% of employees were vaccinated on the railway of Kazakhstan

More than 93 thousand railway workers were vaccinated against COVID-19 in JSC “NC“ Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” as of December 3.

Over the past week, more than 80 employees of the railway received the vaccine, the railway magazine Railway Supply reports, citing KTZh.
In general for the company, the total percentage of those who received the first vaccination was 85.4%, the second – 83.7%. As previously reported, the Trade Union of Railway Workers and Transport Builders of Ukraine called for a revision of the order on compulsory vaccination for railway workers.
The order will enter into force on December 9. However, due to the low percentage of vaccinations on the railroad, transportation may stop.
