The terminal of the Russian port of Ust-Luga is ready to allocate additional capacity for the transportation of Kazakh coal. Representatives of KTZ Express discussed the prospects of container flows during a visit to the largest Russian port of Ust-Luga.

In particular, the General Director of the Kazakh company Nurlan Igembayev met with the management of JSC Rosterminalvugol, informs railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to KTZ.

It is the only specialized and largest offshore coal terminal with high-tech coal transshipment. During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of allocating additional capacity for transshipment of Kazakh coal.

There was also a meeting with the operator of specialized port terminals in Russia. Global Port operates eight terminals, including container and universal, as well as specializing in petroleum products and bulk cargo.

The use of the terminal capacity of the port of Ust-Luga was also discussed during talks with the heads of other terminals. It was emphasized that the container terminals of the port of Ust-Luga are ready for transshipment of transit and import cargo in containers from Kazakhstan.
