The CIS countries adopted the tariff policy of railways for the transportation of goods in 2023
The tariff policy of the railways of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the carriage of goods in international traffic for 2023 has been adopted. This is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to the telegram channel of the Community of Railway Workers of Belarus.
According to the report, the tariff policy of the member states’ railways was adopted at the tariff conference of the CIS railway administrations. It determines the tariffs for the carriage of goods in international traffic for the 2023 freight year. The tariff policy of the CIS for 2023 will be posted on the official website of LLP “KTZ – Freight Transportation” and the official website of the Belarusian Railway”
It is reported that the functions of managing the affairs of the tariff policy in 2023 are assigned to the railway administration of Kazakhstan.
The tariff policy was developed in accordance with the basic principles of the concept of establishing an agreed tariff policy in the railway transport of the Commonwealth member states, approved by the Council of the CIS Heads of State in October 1996.
