TEM23 wins Best Design Award
On January 10, 2022, TMH announced that it has won the international Good Design Award for industrial and graphic design for the second consecutive year, reports Railway Supply magazine with reference to ТMH.
The 2021 award was given to the design concept of the TEM23 four-axle, two-diesel shunting locomotive.
Since the submission of the application for the competition, the TEM23 concept has turned into a real product – one of two BMZ locomotives created in the new TMH DNK brand.
The concept of the brand “DNK” also received this authoritative award.
The design of the TEM23 class was developed in partnership with 2050.LAB, the National Center for Industrial Design and Innovation of Russia.
In 2021, the organizers considered more than 1,100 projects from 55 countries of the world.
The TEM23 concept was recognized as one of the best in the Transport category. Other winners in this category are Ferrari, Hyundai and Mitsubishi.
Good Design is a prestigious worldwide industrial and graphic design competition established in 1950.
It is hosted by the Chicago Ateneum Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urbanism.
