AB “LTG Cargo” announces an auction for covered wagons. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

General information about the auction:

  • The auction participant must agree on the inspection time with the responsible person no earlier than 30 calendar days before.
  • Before registering for the auction, a participant wishing to participate in the auction must send their details by e-mail: mindaugas.bulvydas@ltgkc.lt at least 5 days in advance.
  • The wagons are currently leased in Ukraine, and the transfer will take place within Ukrainian territory.
  • The buyer commits to taking the property no earlier than 90 calendar days from the date of signing the contract, but no later than 120 calendar days from the date of signing the contract, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
  • The price is indicated with VAT (if applicable).

LTG Cargo

A person cannot be an auction participant if:

1. Within 1 (one) year from the property transfer date under a previously concluded contract, the Company learns from public sources that the person has not complied with the terms of the earlier contract regarding sanctions, i.e., transferred goods included in the list of goods prohibited for export under Regulation (EU) 833/2014 or the National List of Controlled Dual-Use Goods approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania by Resolution No. 512 of June 30, 2023, to the Russian Federation, its controlled territories, or the Republic of Belarus;

2. The person is an employee of the Company’s asset-owning division or a person directly related to the asset, or has participated in the procedures for preparing, discussing, or making decisions regarding the sale of the property (for example, when the employee’s duties are directly related to the Company’s asset sale/valuation activities), unless the Commission decides otherwise.
