PESA Bydgoszcz will provide three new locomotives for PCC Intermodal SA. A contract was signed between the largest Polish manufacturer of rail vehicles and the leader of intermodal transport in Poland.

PESA Bydgoszcz will provide PCC Intermodal SA with three new locomotives

The companies signed a contract for 3 out of 7 locomotives covered by the Operational Program “Infrastructure and Environment” (Measure 3.2). Both companies place a strong emphasis on sustainability, support investment in low-emission green solutions, promote quality and focus on customer needs, informs Railway Supply magazine citing Raport Kolejowy.

A tender for the purchase of electric locomotive tires for Uzbekiston Temir Yullari has been announced

PESA locomotives will begin their routes on the operator’s regular network of intermodal connections between the Polish ports of Gdansk / Gdynia and the country’s most important economic regions as early as next summer.

The contract covers the production and warranty service of electric locomotives certified for Poland, as well as P4 repair maintenance.
