Overview of the news of the tram market in Russia
According to the draft budget of St. Petersburg for 2022–2024, published last week, 4.7 billion rubles will be allocated for the purchase of trams in 2022, and almost 7 billion rubles in 2023.
The number of trams is not indicated in the project. However, according to Delovoy Petersburg, the comprehensive program for the development of electric transport provides for the purchase of 255 trams for 14.5 billion rubles in 2021-2023 and 374 trams for 55 billion in 2024-2028, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to tzdjournal.
PK TS will supply 19 71-911EM low-floor trams to Krasnoyarsk for 970.7 million rubles. The equipment is purchased with funds allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation within the framework of the federal project “Clean Air”. The rolling stock should be delivered by December 10 this year.
Perm has announced a tender for leasing 10 single-section trams. The maximum contract price is 675.4 million rubles. The lease term is 36 months, the trams must be handed over no later than March 31, 2022. The deadline for accepting applications is October 11.
