Rolling Stock Upgrade

The procurement of 10 diesel-electric locomotives, 300 carriages, and 120 container tanks for the 1067 mm gauge is aimed at enhancing the main corridor of CFM Ressano-Garcia.

These acquisitions are expected to boost the line’s revenue from $225 million in 2022 to $360 million in 2036.

Additionally, this initiative will save 744,511 tons of CO2 and contribute $1 billion in tax revenue to the government from transportation.
