Latvian Railway introduces storage service for freight wagons
The Latvian national railway operator LDz is introducing a new commercial service from 2022 – storage of freight wagons.
This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply.
The empty wagons that have not been used for a long time during transportation would be the object of storage. The service will be provided to owners of freight cars from March 1, 2022.

Let us remind you that Latvijas dzelzceļš put into operation a center of railway crossings, from which remote monitoring of railway crossings will be carried out.
This center will be the first of its kind in the Baltics and it will be able to serve up to 24 crossings at the same time.
