In seven months of 2021, the Krukivsky Railcar Building Plant (KVSZ) built 483 freight cars. This is 52.8% or 541 cars less than in January-July 2020.

KVSZ has produced less than 500 freight cars since the beginning of 2021

It is noted that in January-July 2021 KVSZ did not make a single passenger car, while in January-July 2020, 26 passenger cars were built.  This was reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply.

On July 23 the account of KVSZ received an advance payment from JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” in accordance with the terms of the contract for the supply of 100 passenger cars.

Thus, the implementation of this agreement was launched.

KVSZ ended the half-year with a loss of UAH 164 million
