Increase in cargo transportation by rail in China
According to the information received from the China National Railway Group, the volume of goods transported by rail in China in the first eleven months of the year increased by 5.2 percent compared to the same period last year and reached 180 million tons. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Railly News.
During the same period, the number of loaded trains across the country increased by 5.9 percent, reaching an average of 177 trains per day. In November, the number of daily train services carried containers increased by 22,5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 49,234.

For 11 months of the year, 1.91 billion tons of coal were transported by rail. This amount increased by 8.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
During the same period, the number of trains between China and EU countries increased by 10 percent to 15,162. Within the scope of the service, 1 billion 475 million standard containers were sent.
