In Volyn, the Kyiv-Warsaw train derailed
The train, which was moving in the direction of the Republic of Poland, crashed on the night of February 19, 2023 near the railway bridge over the Turia River. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. The causes and circumstances of the accident are now being investigated. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Unian.
It is noted that the Kovel district prosecutor’s office exercises procedural management of the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of railway transport (part 1 of article 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Ukrzaliznytsia has not yet commented on the situation with the Kyiv-Warsaw train.
