German student presented the concept of air-cleaning tram
The Clean Air Tram, which is designed for air purification, is presented by the design office of Erik Manz-Hansen as an innovative public transport project for the city of Kiel in Germany, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to raportkolejowy.pl

According to the publication, the project was developed by a student of the German Academy of Mutesius in Kiel. The interior of the vehicle is supposed to be made of antimicrobial materials, and the tram itself should become a large mobile purifier of urban air. In particular, the devices must capture dust particles as small as 2.5 microns. One tram car is designed to carry about 20 passengers.
