Express Service invites to InnoTrans in Berlin
15.09.2022
InnoTrans is the world’s leading railway exhibition. Express Service will participate in it for the ninth time in a row. Once again, it will be the only exhibitor from Bulgaria to present railway equipment at the Messe Berlin open grounds, reports Railway Supply magazine, citing the company’s Facebook page.
“Many people from all over the world appreciate and follow our developments at this prestigious forum. We try to show interesting and practical solutions every time, and this time we are focusing on decarbonization and digitalization of shunting activities,” said Tsvetelin Kolev, project manager.
For the first time, Express Service will be presenting its flagship battery-powered locomotive ES3000 to a global audience at the show. The locomotive has exceptional traction characteristics for its class. This is the future of industrial shunting.
Battery locomotives have extremely low operating costs and are virtually maintenance free. Due to their relatively low design speed, ES vehicles have excellent starting tractive effort.

Thus, it is not a surprise that shunting capacity of the different models is up to 4000 tons.
At its heavy-duty version ES3000 could weight up to 50 tons and shunt up to 4000 tons train at low service speeds.
Welcome to the booth of Express Service (Outdoor Display | T03/80, Outdoor Display | O3/80). The exhibition runs from 20 to 23 September 2022.
