The ES3000 battery locomotive for an industrial customer in France leaves the factory in Bulgaria.

Before delivery to the customer, the locomotive will be presented to the French audience at the 12th SIFER railway exhibition, reports Railway Supply magazine citing the manufacturer’s page.

Unfortunately, this time the Bulgarian manufacturer does not transport its battery locomotives by rail, as no freight forwarder was able to organize the movement of the ES3000 locomotive. Road transport has proved to be many times more flexible, well-organized and customer-oriented.

Earlier, the ES3000 battery locomotive was shipped by rail to Burgas. This was the fourth locomotive that the Bulgarian manufacturer delivered to Port Rail over the past year.

The ES3000 battery shunting locomotive is the newest development of Express Service of a heavy type three-axle battery shunting locomotive with a rated permissible load (carrying capacity) of 3000 tons.
