Work Begins at Toton Depot

Construction starts in July at Toton Traction Maintenance Depot in East Midlands. Nine locomotives, owned by the company, receive the advanced ETCS system.

This initial phase targets completion by March 2026 and launches a broader initiative. Eventually, all Class 66 locomotives will feature ETCS technology for better performance.
