The special museum train “Czech Express” entered the Lower Silesian routes again. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Rynek Kolejowy.
The steam express connected the Pardubice Region with the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. A journey along the Czech-Polish border on a historical train for fans of historical trains was prepared by the Pardubice Region in cooperation with the Museum of Vintage Cars in Žamberk and the Railway Museum in Jaworzyna Śląska

The Steam Express includes historic carriages and locomotive 555.153. This locomotive is a German military steam locomotive handed over to the Czech Railways after the war and marked with 555 series. The trip was part of a plan to launch a tourist railway line from the Railway Museum in Dolní Lipka in cooperation with the Museum of Ancient Machines and Technologies and the Silesian Industrial Heritage Preservation Foundation

UZ plans to order another 1000 passenger cars in five years

Tickets for the train were sold out 2 hours after the announcement, fortunately, the Museum’s website already has many photos from the event.
