Corum Group (DTEK Energy) has signed a contract for the supply of spare parts for JSC Lithuanian Railways, informs railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to Railinsider.

The concluded contract provides for the supply of two sets of 137 items intended for the manufacture of the body of railway freight cars.

“It is nice to be aware that we are opening 2022 by entering a new market. The won tender confirms the high expertise in mechanical engineering,” commented Mikhail Potapov, General Director of Corum Group.

According to him, the manufacture of such products also opens up the prospect of work for the company and the Ukrainian market for the supply of components and spare parts for railway transport.

Orders will be fulfilled by Corum Druzhkovsky Machine-Building Plant. Shipment is planned for spring 2022.
