The German Federal Ministry of Digital Technology and Transport has provided funding to the Future of Rail Freight Transport program to accelerate the development of Modility, a combined transport booking platform. It is reported by the Railway Supply magazine with reference to the Railway Gazette.


Planned enhancements include improved pricing and available train capacity information, a simplified booking process, and technical integration options with other transport platforms.

UZ resumes the sale of wagon shipments in grain carriers for export

Modility originally launched in March 2021 with federal support and now has over 350 registered users. It consists of 40 train operators operating around 2,500 trains a week on over 650 routes across Europe.
