The manufacturer of shunting locomotives from Bulgaria is expanding the sales volumes of its own-produced battery locomotives, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

According to the company’s management, there are currently about 12 battery locomotives that the Bulgarian manufacturer has already put into production.

The main customers of shunting battery locomotives produced by Express Service are companies from France and the United Kingdom.

The most popular locomotives from the Bulgarian manufacturer are the ES3000 (with a power of 3000 tons) and the ES1000 (with a power of 1000 tons) models.

Earlier, we reported that Express Service OOD further increased its portfolio of orders for locomotive repairs.

The company is expanding, and in September 2024, it plans to participate in the InnoTrans 2024 exhibition, where all potential customers will be able to familiarize themselves with the diesel and battery locomotives produced by Express Service OOD.
