PJSC “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih”, together with a contractor, completed repairs of 3 locomotives in the railway shop #2: TEM2-9322, TEM2-2203 and TEM2-8680.

Repair of locomotives TEM2-9322 and TEM2-2203 consisted of almost complete replacement of components, assemblies and various systems. The locomotive TEM2-8680 underwent refurbishment, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the GMK Center.

UZ will purchase rails from Metinvest-SMC for UAH 1.5 billion

The company noted that since the beginning of the program for the restoration of diesel locomotives, which started last year, 9 units of equipment have already been repaired. There are plans to repair three more locomotives.

The average cost of repairing one locomotive, according to the company itself, is UAH 5 million.
