Angle Cock. Brake equipment for railways and subways
15.03.2024
Angle Cocks (4314BT, 4314T, №190) are used to block the brake air supply line of rolling stock on railways. They are connected to the air duct and connecting hose and are intended to be installed at the ends of the brake air line of railway rolling stock as shut-off devices, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Angle Cocks for railway transport are used on passenger and freight cars, locomotives, electric locomotives, electric train cars, and other vehicles. The main consumers of end cranes are enterprises that carry out repairs of railway rolling stock. The Angle Cock of the brake line is used to block it at the ends of the train, in the middle, or at any part of it (when disconnected).
The Angle Cocks is installed at both ends of each wagon and locomotive. The feature of the end crane is that when blocking, it discharges through special side openings from the flexible inter-carriage hose of the line; this facilitates the disconnection of hoses in the inter-carriage space of the train during its uncoupling.
Our company offers the following Angle Cocks of our own production for implementation:
