Additional passenger trains are launched in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan Railways announces the launch of new passenger trains in February. In particular, we are talking about an additional high-speed train “Afrosiyob” No. 764/763 with a connection from Tashkent to Samarkand, informs railway magazine Railway Supply referring to the information of the railway carrier of Uzbekistan.

The trains are launched according to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures for the further development of domestic and pilgrim tourism.” Additional “Afrosiyob” will start operating on 18th of February.

In addition, from February 15, train No. 658/657 will start running on the route Andijan – Nukus, and from February 18 – train No. 684/683 Termez – Khiva.

In connection with the introduction of additional trains, changes are made to the timetable on a number of routes.
