On September 8, the project “Construction of the berthing-technological complex of Tehagro Company” was presented. It should be built in the port of Yuzhny.
The project provides for the construction of a terminal for receiving and transshipment of grain cargoes in bulk from road and rail transport, vegetable oil and sunflower seeds, reports Railway Supply with reference to the USPA.
It will include handling complexes for grain cargo and receiving vegetable oil, as well as a creamery.
According to the project, the planned cargo turnover of the new terminal will amount to 2,700 thousand tons per year of grain, 200 thousand tons of vegetable oil. Sunflower seeds processing – up to 80 thousand tons per year. The total area of land plots on which the work will unfold is 30 hectares.
The start of the construction of the terminal is scheduled for 2022. The construction period is 44 months.
The payback period of the project is six years. Let us remind you that in August the SE “Commercial Sea Port Yuzhny” announced plans to build a terminal for export cargo and a transshipment complex for import cargo.
