What a private Roomette includes?

A private Roomette comes with two daytime seats that convert into upper and lower beds at night. Amtrak lists Roomette First Class amenities such as newly upgraded bedding, along with pillows, towels and linens. The fare also includes complimentary onboard meals, lounge access at major stations, and priority boarding. Onboard, a dedicated attendant can help with luggage, turndown service, and room service.

Booking deadline, travel window, and discount code C125

To use the “Twice as Nice” offer, travelers must book by Dec. 19 for travel from Jan. 4 through Mar. 31, 2026, and apply discount code C125. A separate overview of the same core terms is available from Railway Supply. Terms and conditions apply.

Coach accommodations and Amtrak Guest Rewards

Amtrak also frames rail as a comfortable and convenient option, whether it’s a scenic Long Distance journey or a shorter regional trip. Travelers booking during the sale can still take advantage of Amtrak’s spacious Coach accommodations, including wide reclining seats, ample legroom, no middle seats, and large windows for enjoying the views without being stuck in traffic.

In addition, Amtrak encourages travelers to join Amtrak Guest Rewards, which is free. Members can earn points on every dollar spent on Amtrak travel, with bonuses available for Business Class travel and Acela First Class travel. Points can be redeemed toward Amtrak reward travel and other redemption options, and popular city pairs are available for as few as 400 points for members booking reward travel to experience Amtrak Across America.
