Alstom introduced Coradia Stream electric train for Luxembourg

Alstom has demonstrated a partially double-deck Coradia Stream High Capacity electric train for the Luxembourg Railways (CFL). The event took place at the InnoTrans exhibition, reports Railway Supply magazine citing zdmira.
The train has a speed of up to 200 km/h and is equipped with on-board devices of the European Train Traffic Control System (ETCS) and ATO autopilot with the GoA2 level of automation.
The end carriages of the train are double-deck, and the train may have from three to six carriages.
The Coradia Stream High Capacity trains for the CFL are being built under a contract signed in 2018. A total of 34 trains have been ordered at a cost of around 360 million euros. The trains are designed for operation in Luxembourg, Belgium and France.
