As of June 30 of this year, Alstom’s total order book reached €92 billion, up from €87 billion recorded the previous year.

In the first quarter of the financial year 2024/25 (April 1 to June 30, 2024), the company’s sales amounted to €4.39 billion, a 5.1% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

Rolling stock sales grew by 2%, reaching €2.34 billion.

Maintenance services showed a 12% increase, rising to €1.07 billion.

Signaling systems sales grew by 6%, totaling €637 million. Turnkey systems brought the company €341 million, a 4% increase compared to the first quarter of 2023.

During the reporting period, Alstom signed contracts worth €3.6 billion. Major agreements include:

• A framework contract with Hamburg for the supply of metro trains and signaling systems worth €2.8 billion.
• An agreement with Italy’s Polo Logistica FS for the supply of 70 Traxx Universal locomotives valued at €323 million.
• A contract for the supply of 10 new nine-car Class 345 Aventra trains for London’s Elizabeth line worth €430 million.
• A €150 million contract with Transport for London for rolling stock maintenance until 2046.

Notably, 70% of all new contracts signed in the first quarter of 2024/2025 were in Europe.
