The alliance merges FCC’s international experience—from metro projects in Toronto, Lima, Oporto, Doha, Riyadh, and Madrid—with Martinus’ local achievements on Inland Rail, City Rail Link, and Sydney Metro.
Through shared planning, digital tools, and a manufacturing mindset, the partners aim to minimize disruption, enhance safety, and deliver efficient, sustainable programs.
AlignWide Alliance Builds Long-Term Rail Capability
Since signing an exclusive agreement in 2023, FCC and Martinus have worked to prepare for a pipeline of complex brownfield programs. Their cooperation extends beyond project delivery toward strengthening national rail capacity.
A major element of this effort is a new Railway Innovation, Safety and Training Hub in Melbourne. The facility will create jobs, apprenticeships, and supply-chain opportunities while improving safety and reducing cost and delay risks in future programs.
AlignWide’s model prioritizes collaboration, efficiency, and knowledge sharing to support the long-term development of Australia’s rail infrastructure.
