It is reported that a fire broke out in a refrigerated wagon in Poltava, which occurred on the morning of June 4th, according to the railway journal Railway Supply, citing Rail.insider.

The fire in the wagon was successfully extinguished with the help of three divisions of the State Emergency Service (DSNS) and the firefighting train of the regional branch of the “Southern Railway.”

“The firefighters managed to save the refrigerated wagon. Three divisions of the DSNS and the firefighting train of the regional branch of the ‘Southern Railway’ were involved in extinguishing the fire,” the post mentions.

It is noted that the interior decoration of the wagon was damaged by the fire, and the waste on an area of 20 m2 was destroyed.
