The new rules for issuing free tickets are valid from 1 to 30 April this year.
“Documents certifying the right of citizens of Ukraine to free travel in internal transport are: a Ukrainian passport confirming the border crossing after February 24, 2022, or another document with a photo proving identity, such as a driver’s license, a student ID card along with proof of providing a PESEL number, indicating the status of a foreigner as a person who crossed the border after February 24, 2022,” the message says.
