05.11.2021
In Mexico, archaeologists have discovered hundreds of Mayan artifacts at the railway construction site.
In addition to artifacts, 80 burial sites and thousands of other fragments of an ancient civilization have been discovered at the site of the future railway, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to the local Institute of Anthropology and History.
It is noted that archaeologists have discovered not only individual objects, but also entire mounds and bases with complex architecture. Such a large-scale find will significantly expand the understanding of modern people about the life of an ancient civilization.
As it turned out during the preliminary analysis, the Maya inhabited this territory, starting from 850-700 BC.
