Construction of the Blue Line of the Dubai Metro has been approved
This initiative will enable swift responses to emergencies such as rockfalls or storms in remote railway sections.
Establishing drone bases will allow for quick mobilization, saving human resources when needed.
Drones, following predefined routes, will provide real-time images of the track condition, facilitating informed decision-making.
This will also lead to a reduction in the time spent on visual inspections, minimizing track closures.
The use of unmanned aerial vehicles becomes a crucial element in creating a digital railway, emphasizing the shift towards more efficient and innovative methods of maintaining railway infrastructure.
