The updated Fuxing trains come in 8-car and 17-car variants.
The implementation of the latest technologies has reduced the weight of the trains, decreased noise levels, and optimized equipment layout.
As a result of these changes, passenger space has been significantly expanded, and the area for storing large luggage has increased, enhancing passenger convenience.
The capacity of the 8-car train has been increased to 619 people, which is 7.5% more compared to previous models, thanks to the addition of 38 second-class seats.
In turn, the 17-car train can carry 1,347 passengers, which is 5% more due to the addition of 61 second-class seats.
These improvements are a response to the growing demand for high-quality services on Fuxing trains.
Special attention has been given to passenger comfort. Based on feedback and customer preferences, the comfort level of 24 first-class seats has been upgraded to premium class in one of the cars of the 17-car train.
In premium class, passengers can adjust the backrest and footrest using electric controls, use folding tables, sockets, and individual reading lamps.
Additionally, premium-class ticket holders have dedicated boarding and waiting areas, making trips even more convenient and comfortable.

The update of Fuxing trains on the Beijing–Shanghai line demonstrates China Railways’ commitment to improving its services and meeting passenger needs.
The introduction of new technologies and the improvement of travel conditions make Fuxing high-speed trains one of the best options for travel between China’s two largest cities.
