Ukrzaliznytsia increased tariffs for freight transportation
17.08.2021
Ukrzaliznytsia will receive an additional UAH 2 billion this year and another 10 billion next year.
Today, the Ministry of Justice has registered the order of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and is starting the process of changing tariffs for freight rail transportation, informs Railway Supply magazine referring to the Facebook page of Oleksandr Kubrakov.
“Only market prices for freight transport can create a stable base for proper capital and operational investments in rail infrastructure. Over the past three years, all previous attempts to raise tariffs have failed. The increase initiated by us is the largest in the history of independent Ukraine in absolute terms”, said the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
