During the “All-Ukrainian Logistics Day” event, Valeriy Tkachov, Deputy Director of the Commercial Operations Department at Ukrzaliznytsia, spoke about significant changes in the freight transport sector of Ukrzaliznytsia, as reported by the railway journal Railway Supply, citing Rail.insider.

He emphasized the establishment of separate directions within the freight vertical, such as “terminal operator,” “operator of port station services,” and “operator of weighing equipment servicing on railways.” Additionally, the formation of a “foreign operator/carrier” to operate on the railways of the European Union was announced.

According to the presentation given during the event, the newly formed company will be named LLC “UZ Cargo Polska.”
