Turkish company Erdemir has received the first two CZ LOKO-produced EffiShunter locomotives
29.05.2023
Last week, CZ LOKO delivered the first two EffiShunter 600 locomotives to the Turkish metallurgical plant Erdemir
The locomotives were transported to Turkey by rail and on low-loader trailers, as reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply, citing CZ LOKO.
The locomotives were dispatched from the factory in Jihlava, and their transportation to the border crossing in Břeclav was provided by CZ Logistics, a subsidiary of CZ LOKO, followed by DB Cargo.
At the border crossing, they were loaded onto a road low-loader semitrailer, which delivered the locomotives to the vicinity of the metallurgical plant.
In total, four EffiShunter 600 locomotives, delivered in stages this year, will replace old foreign-made machines and complement the previously supplied 744, 704, and 705 locomotives produced by CZ LOKO.
The deal also includes an option for the delivery of two additional locomotives in early next year.
