Siemens Mobility and partners Bozankaya and ST Engineering Urban Solutions are advancing Thailand’s public transit. Major contracts for Bangkok’s MRT Orange and Blue Lines are set to elevate urban mobility.

These projects involve delivering 53 modern trains and advanced technical systems, ensuring efficient and emission-free transit. Siemens Mobility is also enhancing rail connectivity in Northern Thailand with a new double-track line.
Sustainable Growth Through Rail Expansion in Thailand
The MRT Orange Line will see 32 state-of-the-art trains serving a 35.9-kilometer route. Features include modern interiors, energy-efficient systems, and enhanced passenger comfort, reducing the system’s carbon footprint.
Simultaneously, the MRT Blue Line will gain 21 additional trains and upgraded signaling, boosting its reliability. Maintenance contracts guarantee seamless operations for both lines until 2039.

Northern Thailand’s connectivity is improving through the Den Chai – Chiang Rai – Chiang Khong double-track project. Advanced signaling systems and local engineering expertise are central to its successful execution.
