They are equipped with innovative systems, including air conditioning, rear-view cameras, and a guidance system for safety.

The trams are also adapted for operation on the narrow streets of Bern’s historic center.

The seven-section TRAMLINK carriages are designed to transport up to 250 passengers, offering a comfortable space for both seated and standing passengers.

Accessibility is a priority, with retractable steps to facilitate boarding for passengers with limited mobility.

This new tram line promises to improve public transportation in Bern and provide more convenient journeys for residents and visitors to the city.

Furthermore, the TRAMLINK tramcar has already gained recognition, receiving the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2023.
