The logistics company “Middle Corridor Multimodal” is being jointly established by Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The registration process is underway, with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport, Marat Karabayev, announcing that “Kazakhstan Railways,” “Georgian Railways,” and “Azerbaijan Railways” have already signed founding agreements for the project.

The main goals of the joint venture include forming a cargo base for the Trans-Caspian international transport route and creating special conditions for this transport corridor.
Karabayev mentioned that tariffs in Azerbaijan and Georgia would be higher due to mountainous terrain, limiting the number of freight wagons and increasing transportation costs.
