Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works (KRCBW)

Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works has signed a contract with Ukrzaliznytsia to supply 95 passenger coaches worth approximately $110 million, with funding provided by the state budget.

Ukrzaliznytsia has strengthened its rolling stock by adding six new sleeper cars, produced by the Kryukiv Railway Car Building Works (KRCBW) for socially important routes.

Diesel Train DPKr-3 is undergoing scheduled repair in Kolomyia depot. Works started in March 2025 at Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works (KRCBW).

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, KRCBW launched spring trials of new wagons. Three passenger wagons undergo testing on the Kremenchuk-Poltava-Kremenchuk route for Ukrzaliznytsia.

KRCBW has completed testing of three new passenger railcars designed for Ukrzaliznytsia. Experts checked the functionality of all systems, and the tests were successfully conducted without any failures or remarks.

The assembly of the anniversary passenger car has started at KRCBW. This car is part of a series of 66 models included in a contract with Ukrzaliznytsia.

The Ministry of Development has launched a program to support Ukraine’s railway industry suppliers, said Oleksii Kuleba. During his working visit, he toured the Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works to observe production.

Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works delivered 15 passenger cars to Ukrzaliznytsia ahead of schedule, fulfilling a government order.

KRCBW won a ₴7. 04 million tender to repair passenger railcar wheelsets by December 2025.

In late November, ten new passenger cars by KRCBW successfully completed tests on the Kremenchuk — Poltava route. These cars are now fully prepared to operate on railway lines across the country.
