CRRC EMUs and locomotives for Malaysia ECRL were officially completed on 18 November, CRRC Dalian has confirmed — a development also reported by Railway-News and one that marks a key step for the Malaysia East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project as it aims to improve connectivity between the country’s east and west coasts.

Malaysia East Coast Rail Link trains have reached a key production milestone at CRRC Dalian’s plant in Dalian, Liaoning province.
