The partners intend to launch hydrogen storage solutions next year for regional trains operating in France and Italy.French rolling stock manufacturer Alstom has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with local company Plastic Omnium to develop hydrogen storage systems for the rail industry, informs railway magazine Railway Supply citing Alstom.

Igor Murdo said that within the framework of the agreement on the purchase of Alstom electric locomotives, the localization level was set at 35%, and not 30%, as previously reported.

The French concern Alstom welcomes the ratification of the intergovernmental agreement between France and Ukraine on financing the supply of 130 freight electric locomotives for JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", the company's press service said.

Alstom is ready to localize up to 35% of locomotive production in Ukraine, but only from the 11th locomotive. It is reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".
