The depot at Sydney Metro Trains Facility North expanded its capacity to house 45 trains instead of 22. This upgrade included new tracks, maintenance sheds, wiring, and improved access roads. According to industry experts, phased upgrades allowed trains to enter service six months earlier than expected.
