This four-car train of the T100 model is undergoing testing on the tracks of the factory in Albuixech, Spain.

The ‘Women in Rail Transport Award 2024’ will be presented at the Innotrans 2024 exhibition

The company plans to soon start testing another eight-car train of the T200 model.

Certification is expected to be completed next year, after which serial production will begin.

Initially, the plan is to produce two trains per month.

According to the contract signed in March 2021 and realized by December 2022, Renfe ordered 24 T100 trains and 55 T200 trains from Stadler for €1.3 billion.

These trains are designed to operate on 1668 mm gauge lines with a maximum speed of up to 140 km/h.

The rolling stock consists of a combination of double-decker intermediate cars from the KISS family and single-decker motor cars from the FLIRT family.

The capacity of the T100 train is 675 passengers, while the T200 can accommodate up to 1890 passengers.
