The transfer is part of a contract signed in 2020 for the supply of up to 1500 cars, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Despite supply chain disruptions, testing will commence in January 2024.

“Kaztemirtrans” has acquired 67 gondola cars

The delivered trains are intended for lines 1–4 with compact dimensions. 24 cars will be used for comprehensive testing, including dynamic trials on the lines.

The operational testing phase with passengers is scheduled for late summer 2024.

The first compact-sized line train was unveiled at the Stadler plant in November 2022.
